As Crysp continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Health & Safety Auditor based in or around West Yorkshire to join our team, bringing their skills, ideas and enthusiasm to help businesses and organisations create safer environments.
Since launching in Bradford in 2021, Crysp has grown to support over 500 clients across the UK, Europe and North America. Built on over 30 years of hands-on compliance experience, Crysp combines innovative digital technology with personal health & safety expertise to simplify compliance management and keep people safe.
As we continue to expand our reach across different sectors, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Crysp's continued growth, build lasting client relationships and play an important role in helping more organisations improve their health & safety practices.
About the Role
We're looking for a Health & Safety Auditor to join our team in a hybrid, field-based position, ideally located in West Yorkshire.
Working directly with our clients, primarily within the education sector, you'll play an important role in helping organisations identify and manage health & safety risks, maintain compliance and improve safety standards.
This means building positive relationships with clients, understanding their challenges and providing practical, constructive advice that helps them make meaningful improvements.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting health & safety audits, safety assessments and fire risk assessments for education and commercial clients.
Producing clear, accurate reports with practical recommendations.
Building lasting client relationships and providing professional, constructive advice.
Using Crysp's digital platform to record findings and support compliance management.
Independently managing site visits across Yorkshire and the M62 corridor, with occasional national travel.
What We're Looking For
As the face of Crysp on site, we're looking for someone who is warm, approachable and confident in building relationships, while having the professional judgement to communicate challenging findings clearly and constructively.
You'll be comfortable having difficult conversations when necessary, always with the aim of helping clients understand risks and make meaningful improvements. At Crysp, people come first. We recognise that organisations face different challenges, and our approach is to work collaboratively with them to identify gaps, provide constructive guidance and improve safety without judgement.
Essential requirements:
Dual qualifications in both health & safety and fire risk assessment.
Proven experience conducting on-site health & safety audits and assessments, including producing accurate, professional reports.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage with senior leaders and site teams.
The ability to work independently, manage your own diary and maintain consistently high professional standards.
A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel as required.
A valid Passport.
Valid Right to Work in the UK required.
Desirable experience:
Experience working within schools, multi-academy trusts or other education settings would be particularly valuable. However, we also welcome candidates with relevant experience in other complex environments, including healthcare and retail.
