Investing in Future Talent: Strengthening Our Partnership with NCSU and the University of Leeds

Over the past few weeks, we have been delighted to once again work with students from North Carolina State University (NCSU) in partnership with the University of Leeds.

This is the second time we have run this initiative, and as a business we have had the opportunity to work with a number of talented students who conducted focused research to support our ongoing development within the nuclear sector.

On Tuesday 16 June, we hosted the NCSU students for a special visit, where they spent time with Crysp Group CEO, Pete Mills, and long-standing friend of Crysp, local entrepreneur and founder of Surpass Limited, Bob Gomersall. Together, they took part in a fireside chat, sharing their experiences and insights on careers, life, and building successful businesses.

Pete Mills commented:

"For the second year running, we have engaged with the University of Leeds and North Carolina State University. The students from NCSU are passionate, engaged and highly ambitious, so we gain a tremendous amount from the programme.

It also aligns perfectly with our ethos of supporting young people as they develop their careers. Providing opportunities to build commercial skills and gain real-world experience is something we recognise as critically important, and we are proud to play a part in that journey."

We would like to thank all of the students for their hard work, enthusiasm and valuable contributions, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with both universities in the future.
